China Tour to Strengthen Ties with BNP: High-Level Delegation Set to Visit China

A high-level delegation from the BNP is set to visit China soon with the aim of further strengthening the party’s relationship with China. The tour is being organized at the invitation of the Communist Party of China and will be led by BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

It has been learned that the visit will take place towards the end of June. The matter was confirmed on Wednesday night, June 11, by Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell.

He stated that a high-level team led by the BNP Secretary General will visit China at the end of this month. The tour is being organized at the invitation of the Communist Party of China.

According to analysts, following the political changes that occurred after the fall of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, 2024, in Bangladesh, China has been trying to build closer ties with the BNP. In continuation of this, the Chinese government has already invited representatives from BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and other Islamist parties to visit the country.
