The Thief Who Became a Dream Analyst 😄

One night, a thief broke into a lonely house. The door was slightly ajar, so he easily entered the house.

He saw an old woman lying on a bed on the veranda. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps woke her up.

The thief got a little scared, but the old woman calmly said— — “Son, by your face, you don’t look like a bad boy. Perhaps circumstances forced you down this path. I won’t say anything.

Inside the room, in the third compartment of the wardrobe, there’s an iron safe. Take everything inside it. Just sit for a moment, beside me.”

The thief was stunned! Does anyone give things away so easily?

The old woman said again— — “Just one request… I had a strange dream while sleeping. Could you please listen and explain its meaning?”

Though surprised, the thief was softened by her kindness. He went and sat beside her.

The old woman began to speak—

— “I saw myself walking alone in a vast desert. There was no one around. Suddenly, a huge eagle landed in front of me. It called out three times— Pankaj! Pankaj! Pankaj!

This call woke me up.

Tell me, son, what does it mean?”

The thief then scratched his head, busy trying to figure out the dream’s meaning!

At this moment, Pankaj, the old woman’s son, who was sleeping in the next room, woke up hearing his name repeatedly.

He came out and saw a stranger sitting beside his mother!

Without thinking further, he immediately started beating the thief!

The thief, sobbing, said— — “Brother, I came to steal… Not to explain dreams!”

The old woman said— — “Alright, son, let him go now. He’s understood his mistake.”

The thief, with a tearful voice, said— — “No, no, hit me more! So I remember— I am a thief… not a dream analyst!”

📚 Lesson: 👉 Do the job that is yours. If you go around interpreting others’ dreams, a nightmare might descend upon you in reality! 😄
