India’s threat to block water flow has created a serious crisis for Pakistan’s water security and national existence.
In an interview with DW Urdu, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said, “Water is our lifeline; we will not give up our rightful share. If India unilaterally stops the flow, war will be the only option.”
He also accused India of supporting terrorism, but clearly stated that Pakistan does not want war; they seek peace. Following the interview, he made diplomatic visits to the United States, United Kingdom, and Brussels.
